A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE Comes to Melbourne in July
Melbourne Theatre Company’s Season 2024 centrepiece, A Streetcar Named Desire, one of the most celebrated plays of the 20th century, will begin performances at Arts Centre Melbourne, Playhouse from 9 July.

The Sound of Waves is an allegorical tale that traces the emotional landscape of performer Jodie Harris' journey through losing her hearing, receiving a Cochlear implant and then discovering how to navigate her world once more. Along the way she has also created a great and memorable theatrical character, the primary school teacher, Mrs. Black.
