Gerald is known for starring in the National Tour of The Lion King. Born in Tacoma, Washington – Raised in Aunu’u, American Samoa and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Proud graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Credits: My Name Is Gary Cooper at Kumu Kahua Theatre. Hā: The Breath of Life, Rainbows of Paradise, The Ali’i Luau at The Polynesian Cultural Center. Tupulaga O Samoa Mo A Taeao at The Merrie Monarch Festival. Based on Disney’s 1994 animated film musical of the same name, The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is supposed to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of Pride Rock. But when Simba's uncle, Scar, kills Mufasa, Simba runs away from home after being tricked into thinking that he was responsible. As he comes of age, Simba learns some valuable perspective to go back and take his rightful place as King.

As the audience grew restless awaiting the start of the play, the near twenty minute delay had me wondering if there would even be a production. Luckily, the play started and the wait, though unexplained, was worth it. Buffalo's Irish Classical Theatre's production of Athol Fugard's riveting 'MASTER HAROLD'... AND THE BOYS proved to be a captivating afternoon.
