NEW TEAM HONEYBEAR is pleased to announce the world premiere production of Anthony Jackson and Jeff Mondoro's THAT'S NOT A PLAY: A PLAY BY NEW TEAM HONEYBEAR, directed by Kevin Laibson. THAT'S NOT A PLAY will play four performances only at The People's Improv Theater, Underground Theater (123 E 24th Street, NY, NY 10010). Performances begin Friday, September 8 and continues through Friday, September 29.
Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins' NICE FISH Transfers to the West End
Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins' critically acclaimed new comic play NICE FISH will transfer to the West End this winter, following sold-out seasons at the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University in Cambridge and St Ann's Warehouse in New York. Directed by Claire van Kampen, the production runs at the Harold Pinter Theatre 15 November-21 January 2017, with press night on 25 November.

Rise of the Usher has elements of All About Eve as well as parallels to Shakespeare's Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet. The ambitious protagonist rises to the top of the usher anthill to achieve chief usher status. When she later transitions from her focus from career to romantic life, she learns about boldness from the heart versus ambition and realizes that different rules apply.

According to Variety, acting teacher George Morrison, who throughout his career worked with such stars as Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, Edie Falco and more, recently passed away. He was 86 years old.
