Historic Hotels of America Announces 2013 Annual Award Winners

Each year, these awards honor, encourage, and recognize the most
exemplary historic hotels, hoteliers, and leadership practices. The
Historic Hotels of America Hotel of the Year Award is the highest honor
awarded. The Best Historic Hotel awards are given to historic hotels
demonstrating the highest contribution to furthering the celebration of
history and demonstrating leadership and innovation in one of four
categories ranging from under 75 to 400 guest rooms.

St. Malachy's - The Actors Chapel will present a star-studded musical extravaganza with The Voices United Choral Festival on Monday, November 12 at 7:30 at NY's legendary Beacon Theatre (2124 Broadway). Over 600 performers will gather under the direction of the internationally celebrated conductor Eric Knapp with the evening being hosted by famed author Raymond Arroyo and featuring special performances by Broadway's Ryan Silverman (more to be announced).

Fr. Richard D. Baker, pastor of St. Malachy's.

In Glenn Close's latest film she stars as Albert Nobbs- a woman passing as a man in order to work and survive in 19th century Ireland. Some twenty years after donning men's clothing, she finds herself lost in a prison of her own making. Close previously won an Obie Award for playing the Nobbs character Off-Broadway in Simone Benmussa's theatrical interpretation of Moore's short story, 'The Singular Life of Albert Nobbs.

Glenn Close will reprise her stage role in the upcoming film, 'Albert Nobbs.' Close will star, produce, and has co-written the costume drama. The rights to the film are currently being sold by production company WestEnd Films in Berlin.
