Origin Theatre Company to Announce 2021-22 Season at Upcoming Gala Dinner
Origin Theatre Company will announce the bulk of its current 19th season at a gala dinner at the Manhattan Penthouse, 80 Fifth Avenue (at 14th Street), on Tuesday December 7, at 6:30pm. The evening will honor Origin’s founder George C. Heslin and board member Andrea Haughian, vice president of business development for Invest Northern Ireland.

The Guthrie Theater held a cocktail party in New York City this week to celebrate Joe Dowling and his final season at the theater. He leaves in June 2015 after 20 years and as the longest Artistic Director in the theater's history. After receiving critical acclaim and overwhelming demand by sold out New York audiences, Larry Kirwan's Stephen Foster musical 'Hard Times' will extend performances thru February 16th at the the cell, A Twenty First Century Salon (Founding Artistic Director, Nancy Manocherian) (338 West 23rd Street). The production will play the following ten additional performances: Wednesdays thru Saturdays 2/5-8 and 2/12-15 at 8pm; Sundays 2/9 and 2/16 at 3pm.
Columbia Children's Theatre to Present THE COMMEDIA RAPUNZEL World Premiere, 6/14-23
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the trattoria, The Spaghetti and Meatball Players are back at Columbia Children's Theatre (CCT) with an all-new world premiere comedy. The Commedia Rapunzel opens Friday, June 14 and runs through Sunday, June 23 with shows Fridays at 7:00 p.m., Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.
Sam LaFrage and Martha Hearn to Teach Advanced Workshops at CCT, June 2013
New York actors Sam LaFrage and Martha Hearn will return to Columbia in June to teach workshops in Advanced Acting and Improvisation for the Actor at Columbia Children's Theatre. Mr. LaFrage's Advanced Acting Workshop will run from June 3 - 14 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Ms. Hearn's Improvisation for the Actor will run from June 3 - 7 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
