BroadwayWorld: When did you start working at Roundabout?
Tiffany Nixon: I started working for Roundabout in December of 2008. They had just received funding to start the archives; I came on after they had gone through an initial assessment.

Classics in the Park, which has been mounting summer performances of classic plays in Ventura County for more than two decades, will perform Georges Feydeau's riotous bedroom farce, The Lady From Maxim's, August 9 through 17, at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Directed by Theresa Secor, the adaptation by Gene Feist will feature songs set to original music by local musician-composer Zach Spencer, and vocal direction by Tara McGrath.
Founder of Roundabout Theatre Company Gene Feist Passed Away at 91
Gene Feist founded the Roundabout Theatre Company in 1965. Since then, the company has grown and now reaches over 700,000 individuals every year. Roundabout now has five stages both on and off Broadway. According to The New York Times, Gene Feist just passed away at the age of 91 due to complications with pneumonia.

Inside the Roundabout Archives - An Interview with Archivist Tiffany Nixon
Roundabout Theatre Company recently announced the theatre organization's permanent archives, which document the company's illustrious 46-year production history. The archives are a resource for the theatre community, Roundabout's audiences, students and researchers. The digital archives showcase selections from Roundabout's general collection, featuring items that chronicle and celebrate the company's impact on the American theatre movement. Below, BroadwayWorld chats with archiver Tiffany Nixon about the project!
Education @ Roundabout
Roundabout has been involved in educational outreach since its earliest years. Gene Feist, Roundabout's founding director, was a high school teacher in New Rochelle, spending his days teaching drama and his nights directing plays and running a fledgling theatre company. Mr. Feist understood the value of promoting theatre in public schools. Our not-for-profit status was linked to our education programming and the educational work we have engaged in over the last twenty plus years.
