Gary Beach received the 2001 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for the role of Roger DeBris in the Broadway production of "The Producers." His other Broadway experiences include "Beauty and the Beast" (Tony nomination and Ovation Award nomination), "Sweet Adeline" (Encores!), "Doonesbury," "The Moony Shapiro Songbook", "Annie," "Something's Afoot," "1776", plus the national companies of: "Les Misérables," "Legends!," "Lend Me a Tenor," "Closer than Ever," and "Of Thee I Sing" (Helen Hayes nomination). On TV he has appeared in "Queer as Folk," "Kate and Allie," "Cheers," "Sisters," "Murder, She Wrote," "Late Show with David Letterman," "Jamie Foxx," "The Wayans Brothers," "Dolly Parton," "Saved By the Bell," "Arli$$." Gary's Film credits include "Defending Your Life," "Space Works," and "Man of the Century." It starred Alexander Gemignani, Aaron Lazar, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gary Beach and Norm Lewis. Mackintosh told Ridge, 'I'm delighted to have the opportunity. The only thing I never expected or dreamt of was getting such a wonderful cast as this. Everybody we ever dreamt of wanted to be in it. We found some marvelously talented people that we didn't know, and I think it's one of the strongest casts of Les Miz that's ever been anywhere.'

Oh my god, I have literally nothing to say about Les Miz. Well, maybe not nothing... not literally! It's not gonna be hard to throw these out, I'll tell you that much. I have so many freaking Les Miz CDs and they all take up so much space at two--even three--discs a pop. The only one I ever really listened to in its entirety more than a couple of times was the Original London cast anyway.
