Gothic-pop chanteuse - FREYA BEER is back with a brand new single Tatianna. The electrifying follow-up to recent single “Write Her Off (WHO), the tracks will feature together on an imminent EP - due for release as a limited 4-track vinyl and on streaming services. Based on a fictional female protagonist from whom the song takes its name, “Tatianna” finds Freya stepping into her heels and waltzing between her lucid dreams and harsh realities. Los Angeles Department Of Cultural Affairs Commissions Artists To Create And Perform Historic Or Original Works
The Department of Cultural Affairs will present six commissioned artists to create and perform original works in observance of the 30th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Civil Uprising. DCA's Leimert Park Cultural Hub is producing the event, Voices of the Rebellion: 30th Anniversary Reflections, in conjunction with Monumental Los Angeles, a travelling public art installation initiative hosted and supported by Council District 10.

These clashing views can sometimes render these subjects somewhat taboo, but Oyster Mill Playhouse is choosing to bring these tricky topics to light. With a touch of humor and heart, their current production of SUPERIOR DONUTS is one that speaks to the genuine power of friendship and empathy, while giving the audience a laugh or two along the way.

From beginning to end, the company has the audience laughing and entertained with fun dance numbers, hilarious songs, and crazy antics that the two con men will go to any length in order to get what they want, which may not end up going exactly as planned.

According to Variety, Cary Elwes (Saw, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights) will star opposite Penelope Cruz in Fernando Trueba's upcoming comedy-drama, THE QUEEN OF SPAIN. The movie is a sequel to Trueba's 1998 film The Girl of Your Dreams, which also starred Cruz.
