American Cancer Society Couture For The Cause Postpones GARDEN CLITZ
In light of the Hurricane Harvey recovery and rebuilding efforts, the Couture for the Cause Chairs and the American Cancer Society decided to postpone last month's Garden Glitz event. Save the date! The premier Fort Bend County affair benefitting The American Cancer Society--a fashion-filled night of food, fun and philanthropy--is now set for April 14, 2018!

Proclaimed by the City of Los Angeles as "LA's Only Legal Orchestra," the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic was founded by attorney/conductor Gary S. Greene. The orchestra held its first rehearsal on January 19, 2009 with 30 legal musicians_and performed its debut concert on January 30, 2009. Since then, the orchestra has grown to 75 members and performed more than 40 concerts, raising more than tens of thousands of dollars to benefit those who cannot afford legal services and for other charitable purposes.
Tribute to Sherman Brothers Set for Disney Hall, 6/18
?Lawyers and judges, who are more commonly heard in the courtroom, will be on the stage of Walt Disney Concert Hall making music together in perfect harmony while raising funds for those who cannot afford legal services. Founder-Conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq. will lead the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, dubbed "LA's Only Legal Orchestra & Chorus," in their 7th Annual Concert Extraordinaire on Saturday evening, June 18 at Disney Hall (111 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles 90012). The Sherman Brothers' memorable Disney music and works by composers Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein will highlight the evening, with Legendary Songwriter Richard M. Sherman as a special guest.

Hundreds of people filled Beverly Canon Gardens on Thursday evening, June 25 to honor actress June Lockhart on the occasion of her 90th birthday. Gary Greene, Esq. and His Big Band of Barristers played the classic songs from the big band era as members of the audience sang and danced. Beverly Hills City Councilmember Nancy Krasne presented Lockhart with a proclamation and noted that Lockhart resided in Beverly Hills for more than two decades from the 1940s to the mid 1960s. Big Band of Barristers to Join June Lockhart, Hal Linden and More Set for Veterans Day Concert at Shrine Auditorium, 11/9
America's No. 1 Legal Band, Gary Greene, Esq. and His Big Band of Barristers will join forces with celebrities -- Pat Boone, Tom Dreesen, Hal Linden, June Lockhart, Judge Judy's bailiff 'Byrd' and former Beach Boys member Patrick Kelly, Esq. (who also served as President of the California State Bar) - for a special Veterans Day concert in honor of Veterans and Members of the Armed Forces. It all takes place on Sunday afternoon, November 9 at Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. Free admission.
