International Contemporary Ensemble Presents George Lewis: Hearing Voices At Roulette On October 5
International Contemporary Ensemble is featured in the first of two concerts this season at Roulette on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. The concert, titled George Lewis: Hearing Voices, presents a portrait of the Ensemble's Artistic Director and features the US premiere of Lewis's H. narrans (2020) for voice and chamber ensemble, with text drawn from the writings of postcolonial theorist Sylvia Wynter.

On Friday, September 28, 2018, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Du Yun releases her latest collaboration with the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Dinosaur Scar, on TUNDRA via New Focus Recordings. With Du Yun's signature chameleonic presence, the album revisits foundational works that showcase their ever-evolving partnership. Du Yun is the 2017 recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in Music for her opera Angel's Bone.
Wet Ink Ensemble Releases Wet Ink: 20, Album Celebrating 20th Anniversary, On Carrier Records
On Friday, September 15th, 2018, Wet Ink releases Wet Ink: 20 on Carrier Records, the group's first full-length album focused on works for sinfonietta, featuring the 28 musicians of the Wet Ink Large Ensemble. The release celebrates Wet Ink's 20th Anniversary, and highlights the ethos of innovation through collaboration that has guided the work of Wet Ink throughout the ensemble's history. The album includes works by Wet Ink's four acclaimed composer members Alex Mincek, Sam Pluta, Kate Soper, and Eric Wubbels alongside music by Katherine Young and Anthony Braxton.
