Wiltshire Creative today has shared a look inside rehearsal for Lucy Kirkwood's The Children, opening at Salisbury Playhouse next month. Belinda Lang directs Christine Kavanagh (Rose), Joanne Pearce (Hazel) and Brian Protheroe (Robin). The production opens on 8 April 2022, with previews from 7 April and runs until 23 April.

With the UK tour of the world première of Julian Barnes’ The Lemon Table starring Ian McDiarmid and directed by Michael Grandage recently finished, Wiltshire Creative today announced that Belinda Lang will direct a new production of Lucy Kirkwood’s The Children at Salisbury Playhouse in April 2022.

1950. Blackpool. Newly-wed Yorkshire couple, Jack and Liz have crossed the Pennines for their first trip to the seaside mecca. Beneath an uncertain September sky, they holiday in a world of stripy deckchairs, sandy sandwiches and stroppy donkeys. As the Wurlitzer organ plays they sway together on the dance floor of the Tower Ballroom.
THE PRICE Will Transfer to the West End, Starring David Suchet And Brendan Coyle
The 50th anniversary production of Arthur Miller's riveting drama The Price is today announced for a West End transfer in February 2019 following a critical and publicly acclaimed reception in Bath earlier this summer. Eminent British actor David Suchet and Olivier Award winner and BAFTA and Emmy nominated Brendan Coyle will both reprise their star roles, as furniture dealer Gregory Solomon and New York cop Victor Franz, respectively, in Jonathan Church's exemplary revival with Adrian Lukis and Sara Stewart. The Price will run at Wyndham's Theatre from 5 February to 27 April with opening night for press on 11 February 2019.

Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman, New Level Productions and Julian Stoneman just announced a new and vibrant revival of Gilbert and Sullivan's hugely popular The Pirates of Penzance. PIRATES!, a bold reinvention of their universally renowned and celebrated show loved by audiences the world over, is conceived, directed and choreographed by Daryl Gray, and will open in the UK in 2019.
Adrian Noble to Direct THE KING'S SPEECH on Broadway
As reported by BroadwayWorld last week, David Seidler's Oscar winning movie ‘The King's Speech' will be headed on Broadway in the fall of 2012. Seidler wrote the screenplay for ‘The King's Speech' after he wrote it as a play. Now according to CNN.com, Adrian Noble is on board to direct the project.
