Two famous entertainers who split up their act return to the Inn--one to try out his new Christmas show and the other to see the place one last time before it is sold. Enjoy an evening of holiday music, laughter and a poignant story filled with Christmas magic as the supporting players and the families of the feuding stars try to get them to reunite and recreate the act which made them famous. The show features all your favorite Christmas songs including an old-fashioned sing-along.

The story is both very entertaining and very moving, and will warm the heart of everyone whose spirits were ever raised by the prospect of a victory by the underdog against all the odds. The score is a musical delight and contains one of the most poignant moments in musical theatre as Don Quixote relates his personal credo in 'The Impossible Dream'.

Show Boat, the first great serious Broadway musical, combined the talents of Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II. The story, which spans almost fifty years, follows the lives, loves, and losses of a troupe of riverboat performers aboard the Cotton Blossom floating theater on the mighty Mississippi. Its timeless score contains some of the most beautiful and emotionally charged songs ever written for a musical, including 'Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man' and 'Make Believe.' "Ol' Man River", is the show's most memorable anthem about how the mighty Mississippi River, that unstoppable force of nature, is completely indifferent to human suffering.

BWW Review: Buoyant ANYTHING GOES Docks in Orlando
Beloved theatre standards, tap-dancing sailors, chorines in sequins, a farcically silly plot; what more could you want from a Cole Porter musical? After winning three Tony Awards in 2012, including Best Revival of a Musical, the National Tour of ANYTHING GOES ends its delightfully giddy run at Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this week, concluding on Sunday, May 31st. This non-Equity tour boasts Kathleen Marshall's direction and choreography, the latter of which earned her a third Tony. A joyful celebration of old-fashioned musical theatre, the delightful cast will leave you with a smile on your face, but this ANYTHING GOES lacks the sharpness and playfulness to make you fall out of your seat laughing and/or cheering, which most certainly can happen when this classic is at its best.
