C.S. LEWIS ONSTAGE: THE MOST RELUCTANT CONVERT Comes to The Broad Stage
Following its acclaimed 2018 national tour, C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert starring Max McLean as C.S. Lewis has eleven performances at The Broad Stage Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 21 (press opening is Friday, July 12). The play is presented in Santa Monica by Fellowship for Performing Arts, the producers of The Screwtape Letters and The Great Divorce.

The Washington Stage Guild starts its 'Pearl Anniversary' season with a remount of one of America's favorite holiday stories in It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. It's Christmas Eve, 1946, and we are the studio audience for a local radio station as its cast of voice actors and one very busy sound effects man broadcast the beloved tale of George Bailey and his encounter with Clarence, his guardian angel. Following hugely successful performances of their last three shows at Brighton Fringe, award winning company Box Tale Soup return in May with their latest work, Manalive! The new show tells the story of Beacon House, a broken-down boarding establishment, and its brooding tenants. When an exciting new guest arrives everyone is uplifted by his infectious charm and energy... but the visitor may not be as innocent as he seems. Adapted from the novel by G.K. Chesterton, Manalive! features just two performers alongside a cast of Box Tale Soup's signature handmade puppets.
