BFA and MFA in Dramatic Art from UNC Chapel Hill. 1978-1981 Directed in the Visiting Artist Program in North Carolina. 1980, 1981 Production Stage Manager of UNTO THESE HILLS outdoor drama in Cherokee, NC. 1983 Resident in the North Carolina Artist in the Schools program. 1983-1986 Stage Managed 10 Equity Showcase productions in New York City. Former Board Member of Theatre in the Park in Raleigh and Piedmont Players in Salisbury, NC.

Burning Coal Theatre Company will present the East Coast premiere of Darkside, a comedy by Tom Stoppard with music by Pink Floyd, directed by Palina Jonsdottir. The play will run October 12 - 14, 19 - 21, 26 - 28, 2017 at 7:30 pm and October 15, 22, and 29 at 2 pm at Burning Coal's Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.

Burning Coal Theatre Company's 2012/2013 season continues with C.P. Taylor's drama Good, directed by Ian Finley, January 31 through February 17, 2013 at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays (1/31 to 2/2, 2/7 - 9 and 2/14 - 16) at 7:30 pm and Sundays (2/3, 10 and 17) at 2 pm. Tickets are $25 or $20 for seniors, and $15 for students and active military. Thursday night tickets are $10. Sunday, February 3 at 2 pm is 'Pay What You Can' day.
