REQUEST SA RADYO Now Plays at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre
Renowned for her perfect pitch, Lea Salonga skipped lunch on tech week to entertain questions from a select media group about her new, unique project. She stars in “Request sa Radyo” (Request Concert), a play by Franz Xaver Kroetz about middle-class loneliness. A caveat: Salonga won’t utter a single word (nor sing a single note) in this 60-minute 'wordless' play.

BWW Review: TOM FOOL, Orange Tree Theatre
On the night marking two years since theatres were forced to close their doors due to the pandemic, we are reminded of the power of theatre in Franz Xaver Kroetz’s Tom Fool. Studio Theatre to Open Studio X Series with ANIMAL
Studio Theatre will inaugurate its Studio X series with Animal, a new play by British playwright Clare Lizzimore, commissioned for Studio's stage. "Clare is a director turned playwright whom I commissioned after reading her first play," says Artistic Director David Muse. "She has a tremendous theatrical imagination paired with an understanding of the subtle skill of actors to animate characters. Animal is an intimate and character-driven domestic drama, full of twists and humor. I've known GT Upchurch for years, and she has the craft and imagination to realize Clare's work in all its complexity and beauty."
