Frank Winkler to Guest-Conduct Music Institute Chorale July 24

Recently retired piano and conducting faculty member Frank Winkler has performed and taught a wide range of musical styles, from the classic to the contemporary, but he has found the people, from professional musicians to teaching colleagues to students of all ages, the most rewarding aspect of his career.
Music Institute of Chicago Sets Summer Music Camps & Classes

Music Institute of Chicago is offering a wide range of camps and festivals for a music-filled summer. Children and adults have the opportunity to work with the Music Institute's award-winning faculty and ensembles in residence at its campuses in Downtown Evanston (1702 Sherman Avenue), Evanston East (1490 Chicago Avenue), Lake Forest (40 East Old Mill Road), and Winnetka (300 Green Bay Road).
Music Institute Chorale to Present American Premiere in June

The Music Institute of Chicago Chorale, conducted by Daniel Wallenberg, announces its summer plans, including Dumka, a celebration of Eastern European music featuring an American premiere, June 7 at 3 p.m. and its 12th annual Summer Sing-along Wednesday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m. Both events take place at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Ave., Evanston.

The Music Institute of Chicago Chorale, conducted by Daniel Wallenberg, concludes its 25th Anniversary Season with "25 Great Years," presented by the Music Institute of Chicago tonight, June 10 at 3 p.m. at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Avenue, Evanston. In addition, the Chorale invites music lovers to join them in song at two Summer Sing-alongs June 27 and July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Music Institute's Evanston East Campus, also 1490 Chicago Avenue.
