BIO

Following the release of Jono Oliver’s’ “Home,” which was nominated for an NAACP Image Award (now on Netflix), Frank has completed production on the films “Experimenter" with director Michael Almereyda (which premiered at Sundance 2015), and "The Family Fang" with director Jason Bateman.



Frank is also recurring on HBO's “The Leftovers” alongside Justin Theroux. He plays Dennis Luckey, deputy to Theroux’s Police Chief.

New York stage work includes roles he originated in David Ives’s latest play “School For Lies,” Toshiki Okada’s American premiere of “Enjoy,” and Lincoln Center Theatre’s (LCT3) production of Kirsten Greenidges’s “Luck of the Irish.” Frank made his Broadway debut in 2004 in the Tony Award-winning revival of “A Raisin In The Sun” as George Murchison.

He is a graduate of The Juilliard School’s Drama Division Group 31, where he was a recipient of the prestigious Raul Julia Award.

Submissions Now Open For Live & In Color's 2024 Season

Live & In Color is accepting submissions for their 2024 Fall retreat at the Bingham Camp. Playwrights, composers, and lyricists of color and underrepresented communities can submit their new musicals with a 4-actor cast limit. Selected submissions will receive a $1,000 stipend, housing, meals, and travel.
