Broadway Producer Edgar Freitag Passes Away at 80

Beloved theater producer Edgar "Buddy" Freitag died on Wednesday, May 30th in New York City. He was 80. Buddy is currently represented on Broadway by the 2010 Tony Award winning Best Musical Memphis, and 2012 Tony Award nominees Porgy and Bess, Nice Work If You Can Get It and End of the Rainbow. The cause of death was complications from a brain tumor said wife and producing partner, Barbara Freitag.
Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall to Visit Intrepid Museum 11/8-20

The Dignity Memorial® Vietnam Wall, a traveling, three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be on display for the first time ever in Manhattan when it opens to the public at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum from November 8 to 20, 2011. The Wall will be displayed on Intrepid's Pier 86 and be open 24 hours a day.
