Leading up to their season relaunch date on March 12th with International performing artist, Frank Bell, The Art of Sound announces two exciting additions for their Unplugged, springtime line-up. On Thursday, April 16th, introducing new to the series, The Hazelrigg Brother's Acoustic Trio (HazelriggBrothers.com), with George and Geoff Hazelrigg, who will perform select songs from their latest album 'Songs We Like,' with their drummer of 5 years, John O'Reilly Jr.
Frank Bell Comes to Art of Sound
Gaining traction as one of Lambertville's leading underground cultural supporters, The Art of Sound is pleased to announce their next Unplugged live-performance salon series with the return of International recording artist, musician and songwriter FRANK BELL. On Thursday, March 12th, 7pm, Bell will be kicking-off the next Unplugged salon-styled concert on the heels of four successful seasons, coincidentally on the two-year Unplugged, premiere anniversary which featured him. Other monthly performance dates to be taking place through June will be announced shortly. Art Of Sound Announces THE ART OF SOUND UNPLUGGED
After concluding a thrilling spring music series with Tito Puente Jr. this past June with their Unplugged performance schedule, the Art of Sound now announces their autumn Unplugged entertainment offering just in time to celebrate the upcoming holiday season ahead. First up, on Thursday, October 24th, Philadelphia's award-winning Jazz vocalist, Ella Gahnt joins for one night only the Eric Mintel Quartet at the Art of Sound! Together, this sophisticated combination is sure to bring sheer delight to the most discerning of jazz-loving ears & souls! Weeks following Eric & Ella, comes the unique & cultural pairing of the Alex Hiele Paris Jazz Combo with featured, female vocalist Jackie Jones on Thursday, November 21st. Miss Jones will be performing Jazz-styled favorites from prolific writers & composers such as Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Rodgers & Hart and Cole Porter, along with a specially-curated list of contemporary songs. Recording Artist Lindsay Webster Comes to THE ART OF SOUND
The Art of Sound is pleased to announce their latest, live-performance artist addition, LINDSEY WEBSTER to their much-applauded return of "Unplugged". Webster, a truly sultry and soulful, young singer/composer, who has scored two Billboard #1's on the Contemporary Jazz Chart, is the first vocalist in the Contemporary Jazz format to garner a #1 since the iconic SADE! Q&A with Jack Mulcahy
Standing a little over six feet tall, born and raised in New York City, Jack Mulcahy's career in the entertainment business began as a musician. From there, he tried other things. His first film, 'Porky's,' proved successful, leading to the sequel, 'Porky's II: The Next Day.' Mulcahy played the lead role of Jack McMullen in the critically acclaimed comedy classic, 'The Brothers McMullen.' Other television and film credits include 'Sex and the City,' 'Law & Order,' 'NYPD Blue,' and 'Cadillac Man.' Mulcahy now leads a cast of 11 in Alex De Witt's comedy, PRIME TIME, which he is starring in, as well as producing.
