The World Science Festival and Con Edison have announced that City of Science, a buzzing mini-metropolis of mind-expanding demonstrations and hands-on activities for families, will travel to each of New York City's five boroughs, beginning December 10, 10am-4pm, at the Park Slope Armory YMCA in Brooklyn (361 15th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues).

Queens Theatre (QT) celebrated its 25th Anniverary with a gala on June 2, 2014 at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY 11368). The gala honored Euripides Pelekanos who is the co-founder and CEO of Queens favorite burger spot, Bareburger. Orchestra of St. Luke's Gift of Music Gala Sets New Fundraising Record
Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) raised a record-setting $1.13 million at its annual Gift of Music gala at The Plaza Hotel on Monday, March 24, 2014. Funds raised at the gala benefit the artistic and Community & Education programs of OSL, one of America's most versatile orchestras, as well as The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, New York City's first and only space dedicated to classical music rehearsal, recording, and education.

The event raised more than $150,000 for the theatre and its programs, including its educational and outreach programs that bring theatre and the arts to public school students.
