BODY COUNT Comes to Hollywood Fringe in June
A new solo comedy show, Body Count, has been announced as part of the 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Written and performed by Joy Regullano and directed by Fran de Leon, there will be three performances only this June.
Community Play Readings Return to L.A. Libraries
Through Center Theatre Group’s Education and Community Partnerships’ Community Play Readings, Boyle Heights libraries will be the first to experience new works from three local playwrights in March and May.

The world premiere of 'Alma' opens Sunday, March 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre and continues through April 3, 2022. Written by up-and-coming playwright Benjamin Benne and directed by Juliette Carrillo, this new work will reopen the Douglas after more than two years. Produced in cooperation with American Blues Theater, the cast of 'Alma' features Sabrina Fest as daughter Angel and Cheryl Umaña as mother Alma.
Center Theatre Group Continues Free Library Play Reading Series In 2020
Center Theatre Group will continue its free library play reading series with the readings of six plays on select dates from January to June 2020. The plays will be presented at Benjamin Franklin Library on Tuesdays, Malabar Library on Wednesdays and Robert Louis Stevenson Library on Thursdays. All readings will begin at 6 p.m.

Garry Marshall Theatre's marshallARTS family series premieres with a new spin on a classic tale The Enchanted Nightingale.
