Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan has adapted the drama, 'The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in Ten Acts' from former special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's report. This edited 80-minute version focuses primarily on Mueller's findings around whether President Trump obstructed justice. Artistic Directors and theatrical talent from throughout the Twin Cities are donating their time and imagination to bring this report alive. The event is free and open to all. The best moments of SOMETIMES THERE'S WINE at Park Square Theatre in Saint Paul are truly funny and border on radical, by offering glimpses of how real women sometimes talk to each other when no one else is listening. For theatergoers who never have access to such moments, it may be revelatory or discomfiting or embarrassing; but it will likely make others laugh in identification, as it did during the final preview I saw.

Park Square Theatre announces UNPACKING A THEATRE ATTIC: Park Square Theatre's First 43 Years, a new exhibition at Landmark Center in downtown Saint Paul that will run September 6 - 30, 2018. Richard Cook, who has worked at Park Square Theatre since its first season in 1975, is literally "going through the trunks" to choose images and mementoes from every one of the theatre's 350 productions. The exhibit will be arranged thematically to explore Park Square's staggering range of programming, from Shakespeare to mysteries to world premieres. The exhibition is free and open to the public during Landmark Center hours.
