Bastille Day is France's "Independence Day" celebrated each year on July 14, the beginning of the French revolution in 1789. For the third year, the playful and seductive Floanne is presenting her solo concert at Joe's Pub to ravish the ear of the Francophile and culturally curious New Yorker. Her new program "Love Is French" weaves vintage songs into a didactic presentation, dissecting with humor and wisdom the cliche that romances can be.
