"My Name is not Actually Maria" is a multidisciplinary devised ensemble theater piece that seeks to investigating the phrase "and then I never saw them again." Using Craigslist missed connections ads and verbatim stories as source material, this piece blends movement, text, music, and technology to create a dream land of opportunities lost. It is a search for something that disappeared while your back was turned. Dreamy, ethereal and haunting, it is performed to a mix of contemporary music and soundscapes. The work is conceived by Allie Marotta and devised by Cucumber Dogs in association with Sitting Shotgun. It is co-facilitated by Marotta and Fernando Moya Delgado. Movement is directed by Delgado.

The final production in SITTING SHOTGUN's inaugural season, In the Tent of the King, is a classically structured Greek play written, conceptualized, and created from a contemporary point of view. The play highlights the divide between the Trojan civilians and the Greek army in the wake of the Trojan War, questioning the equity of being human in a post-war setting, asking the essential question, 'Can a good person do evil things?'

Appalatin Releases New Album WATERSIDE; Continues Midwest Tour
'Hey, there's a guy playing a charango on Bardstown Road!' That's how Fernando Moya, a Louisville-based Ecuadoran flute and panpipe virtuoso, first heard about Appalatin, the unexpected meeting of Kentucky-raised musicians and masterful Latin émigrés. Moya was so excited, he grabbed his own charango (a diminutive Andean lute-like instrument) and ran down to see what was going on. He soon joined the band.

Broadway In Chicago, along with the producers of FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP are thrilled to announce full casting for the Chicago premiere of the international hit. Ten seasoned performers from the New York and Buenos Aires casts of FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP (from the creators of De La Guarda), will assemble in Chicago beginning May 21 for the non-stop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion and kinetic aerial imagery that resembles nothing less than a fantastic mash-up between aerial theater and a late-night dance party.
