The New York Philharmonic will celebrate its 175th birthday with a subscription program led by former Music Director Alan Gilbert; nearly 100 historic radio broadcast performances released for streaming for the first time; a New York Philharmonic Digital Archives release of all of the Orchestra's archival material from the 19th century; a New York Philharmonic Archives exhibit, The New York Philharmonic at 175: A History of Innovation; and a free Insights at the Atrium event, 'Inside the Orchestra: Yesterday, Today, and Imagining the Future,' with Philharmonic musicians.

Bernstein's Philharmonic Celebrates Centennial Festival, 10/25â€"11/14
The New York Philharmonic will present Bernstein's Philharmonic: A Centennial Festival, October 25-November 14, 2017,celebrating the former Philharmonic Music Director and Laureate Conductor on the centennial of his birth. The festival - which is part of the worldwide salute to the legacy of the renowned composer, conductor, pianist, and educator - will center on Bernstein's symphonic cycle, conducted by Alan Gilbert and Leonard Slatkin, complemented by other Bernstein works as well as by music by composers he admired and championed. In addition, the Philharmonic will present a Young People's Concert - the series that Bernstein famously brought to national attention through the television broadcasts - titled Inspirations and Tributes: "Celebrating Leonard Bernstein," conducted by Leonard Slatkin and featuring pianist Makoto Ozone on November 11. A number of other events - ranging from a marathon of Bernstein's Mahler recordings to a partnership with Harvard and University of Michigan to explore Bernstein as an educator and conductor - complement the concerts throughout the centennial season. Bernstein served as the Philharmonic's Music Director from 1958 to 1969, when he was named Laureate Conductor, a title he held until his death in 1990.

VH1 today announced that the new music competition show 'SIGNED' will premiere today, July 26th at 9PM ET/PT. The eight, hour-long episodes follow three moguls - rapper, entrepreneur and hip-hop artist Rick Ross, recording artist and Grammy award-winning songwriter The-Dream and Roc Nation's SVP of A&R / Artist Management Lenny S - as they work to develop unsigned hip-hop and R&B artists in Atlanta.
Theresa Caputo Live! the Experience Coming to Park Theater at Monte Carlo 10/14
Theresa Caputo, from TLC's hit show "Long Island Medium," will appear live at Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino Saturday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. Caputo will share personal stories about her life and explain how her gift works. She also will deliver healing messages to audience members while providing her fans comfort in knowing that their loved ones who passed are still with them, only in a different way.  Tickets starting at $45.50 (including applicable service charges or fees) go on sale Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. PST.
