BIO

Eva Amessé is a graduate of Swarthmore College (B.A. in Theatre and English with Honors) and the School of the Staten Island Ballet. Her recent theatre credits include The Golem of Havana (LaMama), Bella's Dream (Flamboyan Theater), Honestly Abe (Off-Broadway), A Shayna Maidel (Broward Stage Door Theatre) and Project Educational Theatre's touring production of King Arthur. Eva was a 2010 Berkshire Theatre Festival Apprentice and in 2009 she interned for Broadway Producer, Jed Bernstein (incoming President of Lincoln Center). Several days a week Eva can be seen portraying Victoria Confino, a 14 year old Sephardic Jewish immigrant, at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. Eva will be appearing in the National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene's upcoming production of the new musical Lies My Father Told Me.

Patrick Roche Will Present Solo Show A SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE BREAKDOWN

Award-winning viral spoken word poet Patrick Roche presents a one-of-a-kind solo show interweaving his poems with stories and scenes from throughout his life. This show takes audiences on a journey through pop culture, queer identity, body image, a mental breakdown, sudden internet fame, therapists (both good and very bad) and more, balancing heartfelt explorations of mental health and grief with all the humor and unexpected levity that accompany his experiences. A Socially Acceptable Breakdown challenges everyone to understand, connect to, and laugh with each other even in the face of all of our many breakdowns.
