EXOTIC DEADLY: OR THE MSG PLAY is a wild, wonderful show that explores the ideas of heritage, misinformation, and identity with a talented cast in a fast-paced, graphic novel, 90s pop culture-inspired production and is playing at The Old Globe through May 7th.

BWW Review: Constellation Theatre's Magical THE WHITE SNAKE
Constellation Theatre is closing its season of love stories with a big one from the East. Thankfully 'The White Snake' is not about the 80s English metal band. Instead, it's an ancient, oft-told Chinese folk tale, which was breezily interpreted by Mary Zimmerman originally for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2014. It's brought to lyrical life in a production directed by Allison Arkell Stockman that combines puppetry, movement and a beguiling, underlying musical performance.

BWW Review: FOOD FOR THOUGHT: AUBERGINE at Everyman Theatre
Aubergine, by American playwright and television writer of Korean descent, Julia Cho, is a didactic play, heavy on pathos, but not without humor, that finds its origins in Cho's own life, specifically, the death of her father. Similarly in this play, protagonist Ray, played by Tony Nam, cares for his dying father (Glenn Kubota) at home, with the help of nurse Lucien (Jefferson A. Russell), girlfriend Cornelia (Eunice Bae) and his Uncle (Song Kim).
Cooking Up A Theatrical Feast With Julia Cho's AUBERGINE At Everyman Theatre
When words fail, a home-cooked meal transcends differences in Aubergine-a heartfelt story of food, family and memory from playwright Julia Cho, receiving its Mid-Atlantic premiere at Everyman Theatre, March 14 through April 15, 2018. Directed by Everyman Theatre Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi and produced in association with Olney Theatre Center, Aubergine is a mouthwatering meditation on the beauty of life where hope is no mere ingredient-it's the main course.
