Frankenmouth Community Education Search for Christine and Raoul
Frankenmouth Community Education is holding auditions for actors to sing with 'The Phantom', Franc D'Ambrosio. The area wide search will identify two singers to perform as Christine and Raoul on stage with Franc D'Ambrosio at his concert, November 9 at the Bronner Performing Arts Center. Participants will need to submit a recording of two songs - 'All I Ask of You' and one other song in a similiar Broadway style such as 'West Side Story,' 'The King or I,' or 'Oklahoma.' The cd must be received by no later than September 22. The applicants will also need to provide a short bio and photo. Shortly after word started spreading through the internet tonight about the announced June 1st closing of the Broadway production of Rent, BroadwayWorld's News Editor, Eugene Lovendusky, started a thread on our Broadway message board asking readers to share their experiences of seeing Jonathan Larson's breakthrough achievement for the first time.
