Farmington Players Present One Act Festival
The Farmington Players are hosting a festival of short one-act plays written by playwrights with Michigan connections. The eight finalists were selected from over 70 entries in a blind submission process, and audiences will vote for their favorite play, with the winning playwright taking home a $100 prize and the coveted “People’s Choice” award.
Imaginarium Theatre Co. Presents Sixteen New Works
Imaginarium Theatre Company's seasonal writer's group culminates in a weeklong festival this June, featuring sixteen in-person and virtual play readings from the group participants. ITC writer's groups meet weekly and are guaranteed readings at the end of each cycle.
FRIGID NEW YORK + Manhattan Theatre Source Present ESTROGENIUS FESTIVAL 2019
FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade in association with Manhattan Theatre Source will present the 2019 EstroGenius Festival, the longest running festival celebrating the work of women and gender non-conforming artists in NYC. Begun in Manhattan Theatre Source in 2000 as a short-play festival, the festival has launched and supported hundreds of artists in its 19 years. In 2017 the festival moved to its new home at The Kraine Theatre on E. 4th St.

Fasten your seatbelts for 'Becky's New Car, ' a wild ride along the road of love, fidelity and second chances, opening Today February10th at the Farmington Players Barn in Farmington Hills. It's part quirky comedy and part heartwarming drama. When the married Becky Foster meets a millionaire widower Walter Flood at a car dealership, they begin an unlikely friendship, and the audience gets a chance to ride shotgun in a way most plays wouldn't dare.
