Kennedy Center Partners in Education Program will inspire the next generation of budding artists with Opening the Curtain, a video series introducing PAUSD elementary students to the breadth of careers available in performing arts, including acting, tech, scenery, costumes, directing, administration, and more.

Florida Georgia Line & More Perform at THE 2014 MISS USA Competition Tonight

Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, previously announced that Florida Georgia Line, with special guest Nelly, and Marc Broussard will perform during the 63rd annual MISS USA Competition airing tonight, June 8 (8-11 p.m. ET) from the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, La. Giuliana Rancic and Thomas Roberts team up to host the competition for the first time together as the show expands to three hours.
Camila Joins MISS USA Musical Lineup, 6/8
The Miss Universe Organization announces Latin pop band Camila will join the musical lineup for the 63rd annual MISS USA® Competition on Sunday, June 8 (8-11 p.m. ET) from The Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, La. Immediately following the international release of their new album, “ELYPSE,” the band will take the MISS USA® stage for their first official public performance since the record's launch on Wednesday, June 3. Camila's set will be added to Sunday's musical roster along with Florida Georgia Line and special guest Nelly, Marc Broussard, and The Dirty Dozen Brass Bands. Giuliana Rancic, co-anchor of 'E! News,' and Thomas Roberts, MSNBC's “Way Too Early” will host the competition.

Photo Flash: Designer Mischka Velasco Brings STRING THEORY to New York Fashion Week
If fabric could talk, its very threads would mention the designs by Mischka Velasco who brings new artistry to the fashion scene. Fluid edit was prominent during Velasco's Fall 2014 Fashion Show on Monday February 10, a manifestation of her concept 'String Theory' was featured on day five of New York Fashion Week. Her show featured the bold singular red string and an array of multi-colored embroidered strings that was playfully weaved across each unique runway look; all magically relating, but uniquely different through this young designer's vision and inspiration.
