BIO

Erika Miranda received her BFA in Acting from The Theater School in Chicago, Illinois. During her studies at DePaul, she also received a Certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Her movement training sparked a commitment to truthful storytelling through the connection of body. mind and soul. Erika is currently based out of Atlanta, where she seeks to tell the stories that too often go untold. Her recent credits include: The Wolves at Horizon Theater (#46), Slaying Holofernes at Essential Theater (Amanda), The Laramie Project/ Our Town at Theatrical Outfit (U/S), Frankenstein's Funeral with Found Stages (Justine) and (Lydia Wickham) in the The Wickhams at Theatrical Outfit. Erika co-stars in The Gallows Act II (Blumhouse Productions) to be released in theaters October 2019.

SheATL Arts has announced its lineup for the 2022 SheATL Summer Theater Festival. After a rigorous, blind, months-long selection process out of over 300 submissions from around the globe, four full-length plays by gender-marginalized artists have been selected to take the SheATL stage this August.

Weird Sisters Theatre Project Has Selected New Producing Team

The Weird Sisters Theatre Project has selected a brand-new team of female artists to continue producing theatre in Atlanta by women, for everyone. In the vein of the company's mission to foster and cultivate opportunities for women in the arts with a commitment to producing works by women for everyone, they are excited to bequeath their power and responsibilities to the next outstanding producing team. The Theatre School at DePaul University is pleased to present ARABIAN NIGHTS as the inaugural production in the Sondra & Denis Healy Theatre at The Theatre School building, located at Racine and Fullerton on the Lincoln Park Campus. The Healy Theatre is a 100-seat flexible theatre, located on the fourth floor of The Theatre School. Its distinguishing feature is the completely transparent north wall overlooking Fullerton Avenue. Dominic Cooke's adaptation of Arabian Nights is directed by Kevin Kingston, as part of The Theatre School's New Directors Series. It premieres on Friday, November 1, and runs through Sunday, November 10, 2013. Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Previews are on October 30 and 31, at 7:30 PM.
