Erik started his career as a dancer, only after he was discovered as a child gluing coins to the bottom of his shoes for tap shoes. Erik is American Musical Dramatic Academy Alumni and currently a member of the Actors’ Equity Association. Since going from Balanchine to Broadway, he has appeared and starred in multiple productions throughout Southern California. In his youth, circa 2000, Erik was a company member of the Palm Springs Ballet Company, and was often featured in Derrik Lewis’ Musical Chairs concerts. Most recently, Erik was seen as The Scarecrow in Musical Theatre West’s THE WIZARD OF OZ (2023). Before that, as The Emcee, in the (2022) production of CABARET at The McCallum Theatre, as a limited engagement. Erik was featured in the (2019) West Coast Regional Premiere of Something Rotten! (MTW), and starred in MEL BROOKS’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (2017) as Igor, while doubling as Victor von Frankenstein (3D Theatricals). Erik is looking to one day play the titular role in Beetlejuice: The Musical. Until then, you can find him advocating, as a certified volunteer, for the restoration of the Historic Plaza Theatre in Palm Springs. You’ll also never know when Erik will surprise you with a performance at PS Underground. Erik is expected to debut his solo show "A LITTLE DIFFERENT: A MUSICAL REVUE" in the near future.
