Erica Spyres is an actress, singer, and violinist who was recently seen in the Broadway production of Carousel. She has performed throughout the U.S. and abroad appearing in the first national tour of Once, in the Parisian premiere of Sondheim’s Passion opposite Natalie Dessay conducted by Andy Einhorn (Théâtre du Châtelet), and on tour as a soloist with the Boston Pops. Growing up in the Ozarks, folk music in in her blood. Erica’s family was honored as Most Musical Family in Missouri, she was the youngest person to play Pa’s Fiddle featured in the “Little House” books, fiddled on CBS’ Travels with Harry, played with Les Brown Jr., Daniel O’Donnell, and now performs in the foot-stomping band, The Typsy Spyres. Theatre credits include Annie Get Your Gun (Bay Street Theatre), Paradise Square (Berkeley Repertory Theatre), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Peter and the Starcatcher, Into the Woods, Avenue Q (IRNE Award), Time Stands Still (Lyric Stage Company of Boston); Tribes (Elliot Norton Award), The Light in the Piazza (SpeakEasy Stage, IRNE Award); Camelot (IRNE Award), Marry Me a Little (New Repertory Theatre); and Pirates! (Huntington Theatre).
