BIO

Eric Stoltz is a theatre trained actor and director who easily moves from Broadway to Off-Broadway to both Studio and Independent films.

Originally studying to be a pianist, he was rehearsal accompanist to many musicals while being educated at the University of Southern California. Shifting over to acting as a profession, Mr. Stoltz went on to study with Stella Adler, Peggy Feury, and Robert Lewis.

Appearing in the early Cameron Crowe films such as Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Say Anthing, and Jerry Maguire, Mr. Stoltz garnered his first lead role in Peter Bogdanovich's Mask, playing Cher's disfigured son, a role for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

Making his Broadway debut in Lincoln Center Theatres acclaimed revival of Our Town, he was nominated for a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award and the Theatre World Award.

In the 1990's Mr Stoltz moved into the burgeoning Independent film world, starring in the Sundance award winning film The Waterdance with Helen Hunt, Pulp Fiction with John Travolta, and The House of Mirth with Gillian Anderson.

Starting in 2000, Mr Stoltz began directing as well as acting, and continues to appear on stage and in film, saying that, "I realize I'm a very lucky man. I love what I do, I love films, tv and theater, and the fact that I'm able to make a living at it staggers me."

He is a member of the Actors Studio.
