Julia Udine to Rejoin THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA National Tour
Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA announces the return of Julia Udine to the national tour. Ms. Udine will resume performances as 'Christine Daae,' the role which she created for the national tour and most recently starred as on Broadway, for the Washington DC engagement at the Kennedy Center July 13-August 20 and the Denver engagement at Buell Hall August 25-September 11. Katie Travis will return to the role in the fall.

Semi-Finalists Announced for Wilson Center Guitar Competition
As part of an eclectic celebration of some of the world's best guitar players, 59 competitors have been selected as the semi-finalists in the third annual Wilson Center Guitar Competition & Festival (Guitar Competition & Festival) taking place Thursday, August 13, 2015, through Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts (Wilson Center). An international, multi-genre festival that features four different competitions—Rock/Blues, Fingerstyle, Jazz, and Classical—the Guitar Competition & Festival is open to competitors of all ages and features $22,000 in prize money.
KINKY BOOTS, NEWSIES & More Set for Omaha Performing Arts' 10th Anniversary Season
Omaha Performing Arts' 2015/2016 Season will include a celebration of the organization's 10th anniversary, Celebrate 10. Details on the festivities as well as the 15/16 Season were announced during a subscriber and patron event at the Holland Performing Arts Center on March 23. Special performances by cast members of Disney's NEWSIES and Celia Hottenstein and Eric Ruiz, who star as Christina and Raoul in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, were part of the announcement. The dance troupe BANDALOOP opened the event with an awe-inspiring aerial performance.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA National Tour Breaks Box Office Records in Charlotte
The Charlotte, NC engagement of Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERAbroke the one-week 8 performance box office record at the Belk Theater, grossing $1,424,241 for the week ending February 8, 2015. This tops the previous record of $1,399,577 held by The Lion King in September, 2013. PHANTOM then broke its own record during the second week of their engagement, grossing $1,515,155 for the week ending February 15, 2015. The tour is now in Pittsburgh, PA's Benedum Center playing to near sold-out houses through March 1, 2015.

PHANTOM Costume Exhibit Precedes Tour's Orpheum Engagement
In celebration of The Orpheum Theatre's upcoming engagement of Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, the Orpheum, in partnership with Carriage Crossing and the Phantom North American Tour, is hosting a special limited-time free exhibit of selected Phantom costumes by the late Tony Award-winning designer Maria Björnson. Björnson's sketches as well as costumes from the production will be on display in Suite 555 at Carriage Crossing (4675 Merchants Park Cir., Collierville, TN) September 12-21, Mon-Sat 10am-6pm and Sun 1pm-5pm. These exquisite original designs will be featured in the spectacular new touring production playing at The Orpheum Theatre September 24 – October 5.
