BWW Review: REYKJAVIK at Rorschach Theatre

You may be forgiven if the phrase 'romantic getaway' doesn't immediately inspire images of Iceland and, though it features several couples, Steve Yockey's 'Reykjavik' is unlikely to change your mind. What it will do is give a momentary, and at times uncomfortably intimate, glimpse into the relationships of these couples as paths intersect and unwind in the titular city. It is a haunting and disorienting ride you won't want to miss.
Rorschach Theatre Announces REYKJAVIK

James is in Reykjavik for the Northern Lights, but they're not here. Instead he ventures into the 24-hour dark of the Icelandic winter and finds himself entangled with dangerous strangers, suspicious lovers, malevolent birds and the mysterious Huldufolk.
Neil Gaiman's NEVERWHERE Comes to Rorschach Theatre

Rorschach Theatre announces the cast and designers for its revival of NEVERWHERE (2013), Robert Kauzlaric's adaptation of Neil Gaiman's modern cult classic about a man who stumbles upon adventure in a dangerous and magical world that exists below the streets of London. The ensemble cast will include returning cast members Sarah Taurchini as Door and Daniel Corey as Richard Mayhew. The design team will include cutting-edge set and projections design collective Pixelumen Lab.
Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards Set for Tonight

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), in association with noted Harvard Business School Professor Clay Christensen and the Disruptor Foundation, announced it will hold the third annual Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards, hosted by NYU Stern School of Business, on April 27. The 11th edition of TFF runs April 18 to 29.

World Premieres Highlight Factory 449's 'Season 2'

Factory 449: a theatre collective, coming off the success of its award-winning 4.48 Psychosis, is excited to announce the lineup of plays for Season 2 (2010-11). Featured are World Premieres by Erik Ehn (Wolf at the Door) and Caridad Svich (Iphigenia Crash Land Falls on the Neon Shell That Was Once Her Heart). In addition, Factory 449 will produce its 2nd Annual Factory Made: a reading series and the DC Premiere of Alberto Pedro's Mar Nuestro, translated by Caridad Svich.
Factory 449 Presents Sarah Kane's 4.48 PSYCHOSIS, 10/8

Factory 449: a theatre collective debuts with its inaugural production of 4.48 PSYCHOSIS by Sarah Kane, author of Crave and Blasted. The production, a remount of Factory 449's award-winning workshop production staged as part of the 2009 Capital Fringe Festival, was recognized as "Best Drama" & "Best Overall Production" by the Festival and "Favorite Festival Play" by DC Theatre Scene. Directed by John Moletress and produced by Rick Hammerly, the cast features Factory 449 company members Sara Barker, Lisa Hodsoll and Brian Hemmingsen.
