Eric Farber is a Brooklyn-based percussionist and theater artist. Eric's "wildly animated" performance and "positively gasp-worthy" design work was featured in FUTURITY (Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Set Design, Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical, OBA Award for Best New Musical – ARS Nova/SoHoRep, Mass MoCA, Walker Art Center, ART), The Foundry Theatre’s Good Person of Szechwan (Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Music in a Play – Public Theater, LaMaMa), The Skin of our Teeth (TFANA), The Elementary Spacetime Show (Philly Fringe), Animal Wisdom (Bushwick Starr). Eric has an MFA from Bard College and a BA from The New School University. A member of indie band The Lisps since 2006.

American Conservatory Theater and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announced today a two-week extension for the original film adaptation of The Bushwick Starr’s production of Animal Wisdom, created by and starring Heather Christian. Animal Wisdom will now be available for streaming through Sunday June 27, 2021.

The American Theatre Wing just presented the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients are Jay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek& Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). Four prestigious, unrestricted grants of $10,000 each, as well as additional support in the form of residencies, concerts, and recording grants, totaling over $48,000 were given at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space.
