Review: FROM BROADWAY TO DUVEMÅLA On Tour
For the eighth year the concert From Broadway to Duvemåla goes on tour with musical songs in Sweden. On stage this year we see Malena Tuvung, Emmi Christensson (played Christine in Phantom of the Opera in West End) and John Martin Bengtsson (played Phantom in Phantom of the opera in Copenhagen, Kristianstad and Stockholm) again and for the first time Linda Pritchard and Martin Redhe Nordh joins the team. A quintet that complemented each other well and created a good musical dynamic for this year's set.
BWW Review: FRÅN BROADWAY TILL DUVEMÅLA at Skandiascenen Cirkus
When Viktoria Tocca moved back to Sweden some years ago she decided that she wanted to set up a musical concert. She rented the concert hall, Berwaldhallen, home for the Swedish Radio symphony orchestra and asked some friends and colleagues to join. It was the start of the tour around Sweden, which is now in the sixth season. Every season, she asked a few musical artists to join in, and even if Sweden is a small country there is quite a few good musical artists to choose between. This season, Viktoria has a new 'baby', the Bridges of Madison County ' which she both produce and plays the female lead role Franseca in. When it comes to the concert tour 'From Broadway to Duvemala', she only do some guest appearance, as tonight in Stockholm, Her baby has grown big and manages herself.

Interest in the show has been very large with sold out houses, standing ovations, spontaneous dancing in the crowd and brilliant reviews of an ensemble with a solid track record. See the tour schedule below.
BWW Review: GENTLEMANNEN (THE GENTLEMAN'S HANDBOOK IN LOVE AND MURDER) at Oscars
In 2014 the musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder won 4 Tony awards of which one was for the best musical. It won in contest with musicals like Aladdin and Beautiful - the Carol King Musical. As I seen both of them and really liked them. I had quite high expectations on 'Gentlemannen' as it is called in Swedish when I saw the dress rehearsal the 24th of January at Oscars Theatre in Stockholm.
BWW Review: THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at CIRKUS
Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic 'THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA' is one of the most successful pieces of theatre and entertainment of all time and continues to captivate audiences all over the world.
The first Swedish production in the late 80's was a huge success so this revival was very anticipated by the old and the new generations of Swedish theatre-goers. I heard someone in the audience say that it was like visiting an old friend after almost 30 years.
