Emmeline Grace Roberts, known to her friends as Emme, is a rising star in the performing arts world. She is thrilled to be playing the role of Lucinda in by A Class Act NY’s anticipated production of Into The Woods Jr. This musical is one of Emme's all-time favorites, and she cannot wait to bring her passion and energy to the stage once again. Emme resides in New York City with her family and is currently in 5th grade, where she excels academically while actively participating in a variety of extracurricular activities.
Emme's love for the performing arts started at the young age of three, when she began dancing on stage. She spent several years under the tutelage of her beloved ballet teacher, Ms. T, and currently trains at Peridance. In addition, Emme has been expanding her dance repertoire by incorporating hip-hop with East Side Dance Company for the past two years.
Emme's passion for acting ignited two years ago when she began training at The Neighborhood Playhouse Junior School. Since then, she has starred in several productions, including High School Musical Jr. and Beauty and the Beast Jr. with A Class Act NY. Most recently, Emme graced the stage in her school's production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Emme is a talented performer, a dedicated student, and a member of her school's drama club, chorus, dance team, soccer team, and cheer squad. When not performing or rehearsing on stage, Emme can often be found on the lacrosse field showcasing her impressive defensive skills.
This summer, Emme is set to perform in yet another production, Moana Jr., at the New Haven Academy of Performing Arts. With her boundless enthusiasm and natural talent, Emme is sure to continue to amaze audiences with her performances.
