Early Music Vancouver Announces Annual Summer Festival In Celebration Of Women In Music, July 27-August 5

Early Music Vancouver (EMV) has announced the dates for this year's summer festival along with a new name. The 2023 Early Music Vancouver Summer Festival (previously named Vancouver Bach Festival) will take place July 27 to August 5 at various venues including SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, Christ Church Cathedral, Pyatt Hall, The Orpheum Annex, West Vancouver United Church, and St. James Community Square.

In 2007, Marcelo and Summer Dey Cacciagioni brought their dream to life and created ENCORE, a non-profit Children's Theatre Company that strives through arts education and mentorship programs to instruct children and young adults in all aspects of the performing arts, to teach life skills, and to instill values that translate to the world beyond the stage.

The show will run from May 10 through May 20, 2012 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm in the 850-seat El Segundo Performing Arts Center, located at 640 Main Street in downtown El Segundo, CA 90245. The production is directed by Douglas Bilitch, produced by James A. Blackman III and Ricki McKissock by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing.
