Stella Adler Studio Presents New Play Reading Series
The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Harold Clurman Playwrights Division will present the fifth annual First Breath New Play Reading Series June 11-14, 2018, featuring new work from four emerging female playwrights. One year ago, the Studio launched a search for new plays by women playwrights, and out of 100 submitted, four will be read. This year, First Breath will feature plays by Julie Richardson, Jan Rosenberg (also the Studio's playwright-in-residence this year), Emma Carter and Jordan Ramirez Puckett. The Barn Players presents 2017 6 X 10 TEN MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL

The Coterie's 2017 Young Playwrights' Festival features Talented Local Teen Writers
It is The Coterie's favorite time of the year when world premiere readings from members of The Coterie's Young Playwrights' Roundtable will be showcased during the annual Young Playwrights' Festival at 7:00 p.m., May 7, at The Coterie Theatre, located on level 1 of the Crown Center Shops. On stage will be thirteen staged readings including monologues, spoken word, short plays, and excerpts from the WORDS + MUSIC project: five moments of new opera, as created by UMKC Conservatory composers in collaboration with Roundtable members, and staged with singers on the roster of the Lyric Opera.

Daniel Fraser plays Teddy Graham and Audrey Palmer plasy Mrs Oakes. Daniel played Gregory Cromwell in the acclaimed RSC productions of Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies in Stratford, London and on Broadway. He also appeared in Chariots of Fire at Hampstead Theatre and in the West End and starred in the Sci-Fi films Frequencies and Lab Rats and the thriller Scar Tissue. Check out a first look below!
