Svetlana Celebrates New Album NIGHT AT THE MOVIES At Joe's Pub This Weekend
New York-based vocalist Svetlana will return to Joe's Pub at the Public on Saturday, September 21st to celebrate the release of her new album Night At The Movies, which was officially released today! The star-studded album, which has already garnered praise and attention from the likes of WBGO, JazzTimes and Jazziz Magazine, is her second release as a leader. The show begins at 7pm and tickets are $20.

Roy Hage IDEATION PRODUCTIONS is pleased to present LOVE SICK: A ROCK-OPERA, by composer/lyricist Georgia Shreve, directed by James Matthew Daniel. Love Sick: A Rock Opera is performed by seven opera singers and features the six-piece rock band, Contraband, with musical direction by William Day. Random Access Music in Queens Releases Season Announcement
New York-based composer and performer collective Random Access Music (RAM), is proud to announce its 2016-17 Season. RAM's opening concert, Random Number One, will take place on Friday, December 2nd at 8pm at Broom Tree Theatre. The program includes two world premieres by RAM composers Gilbert Galindo and David Fetherolf featuring music for clarinet, cello, and piano with pianist David Broome, cellist Kate Dillingham, and clarinetist Thomas Piercy. Works by RAM composers Guy Barash and Allen Schultz alongside Górecki round out the evening's program.
