Emiliano Messiez is an Argentinean Latin Grammy nominee composer and pianist based
in New York City. He is the composer of The Guava Tree, Casa Alfonsa and The City Dog
And The Prairie Dog; all of them, musicals for young audiences commissioned by the
Creede Repertory Theater in Colorado. He is the orchestrator/arranger of the musicals
Ghost In The Machine and Mommy Moon by Janine Robledo and he is currently
composing “Bordello The Musical”. He has released several albums such as “Ahora”,
“Psicoporteño” and “Cuándo Será” among others. He created and directs his own Tango
orchestra: Típica Messiez, a 10-piece tango orchestra and he is a member of the Romo-
Agri-Messiez Trio. Emiliano has performed all around the world in different venues such
as The Lincoln Center and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, among many
others.
