Emielyn D. Das, born April 24, 2002, is a singer, dancer, actress. She is of mixed Indian descent and has been involved in both Indian and American theatrical, film, and musical productions. She has been singing since the age of five, performing all types of music from Vietnamese folk to Hebrew hymns. Emielyn has an active Facebook page, with over 5,100 likes, a Soundcloud page, with over 100,000 plays, and has just started a YouTube channel. She posts covers of English, Assamese, and Bengali songs. She has performed for over 100,000 people worldwide, opening the NorthEast Festival in Delhi, India and recently, in Mira Nair and Vishal Bhardwaj's Broadway-bound musical, Monsoon Wedding. First acting in the Bengali movie, 'Aparajita Tumi' featuring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Emielyn has also been acting from a young age. She has been in numerous plays funded by Bay Area theatre companies, EnActe and Naatak including Jean in 'August: Osage County' by Tracy Letts, Shelly and Lead Female Vocalist in 'Chaos Theory' by Anuvab Pal, and the Nightingale in 'The Conference of the Birds'. She also directed a children's play called 'What Happened After Once Upon a Time' from EnActe. Emielyn plays young Maya in the upcoming feature film, 'The Valley', also featuring Jake T. Austin and Hope Lauren. Emielyn hopes to take her career far and to be forever in touch with the world of music and theatre.
