NAACP Image Award winning actor, Emerson Brooks, stars in the Netflix comedy Uncoupled alongside Neil Patrick Harris. Emerson recently starred in the NY Times Critics' Pick family drama about fathers and sons in "...What the End Will Be" at Roundabout Theatre Company's Laura Pels Theater in New York City. An original production by playwright Mansa Ra, directed by Margot Bordelon.
Best known for his regular role in TNT's long-running series, The Last Ship, Emerson has also appeared in numerous TV shows and films including The Lincoln Lawyer, Blue Bloods, Queens, Arrested Development, and The Officer. His film credits include Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Terminator: Salvation and Super 8. Emerson has lent his voice and movements to over 50 video games and has had the opportunity to be a part of the highest-grossing video game franchises in history: Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto. He is also a voice star in several highly anticipated new games for 2022 but is sworn to secrecy. He is a recipient of an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama for his critically acclaimed performance in All My Children.

UNCOUPLED Canceled By Showtime After Netflix Pick-Up

Showtime is no longer moving forward with a new season of Uncoupled after it picked the series up from Netflix. The Neil Patrick Harris-fronted show was supposed to have a second season on the service after Netflix had canceled it. The series also starred Brooks Ashmanskas, Tuc Watkins, André De Shields, Nic Rouleau, and more.
