The Audio Publishers Association (APA) have announced finalists for the 2022 Audie Awards. Finalists include Cynthia Erivo for Best Female Narrator and Lin-Manuel Miranda for Best Male Narrator. Rosie Jones directs a cast of local young actors from the Rose Youth Theatre led by a team of professional actors including Devon Black (Mother/Bear/Townsperson), Vanessa Fisher (Red/Townsperson), Elliot Fitzpatrick (Otto/Kabeljau), J.J. Henry (Gerhardt/Blue) and Georgina White (Circe). The production opens on Friday 14 December, with previews from Thursday 6 December, and runs until Sunday 6 January 2019.

Including the Dr Seuss stories Green Eggs and Ham, Horton Hears a Who! and The Cat in the Hat, this family-friendly musical by Tony and Drama Desk Award winning team Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens and co-conceived by Monty Python's Eric Idle returns for a second year at the Arts Theatre. A cast of 12 tell the story of Horton the Elephant and the tiny world of Who, interwoven with other madcap Seuss characters who pop up to help and hinder Horton and the Who he heard.

As SEUSSICAL returns to the Arts Theatre this Christmas, Sell a Door Theatre Company just announced the full cast. Ste Clough takes on the role of Horton the Elephant (played, last year, by David Hunter) with Elliot Fitzpatrick donning the famous topper and tailcoat to play the Cat in the Hat.
