Normal Ave Opens Submission For 2023 NAPSeries
Normal Ave has announced the NAPSeries, a festival of new plays, set to take place September 5-17, 2023. The festival will feature four new plays, three parties, and an array of artists, all designed to support the playwrights in their creative journey. This will be the first time Normal Ave includes musicals.

'This Is B.S.' is a new mockumentary-style web series inspired by the non-union summer stock experience. Creators Ella Smith and Lindsey Bristol met on a summer contract at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in New Hampshire and started to write the show in their dressing room when they weren't performing onstage.

Lembit Beecher Debuts SOPHIA'S FOREST 9/8- 9
Former Opera Philadelphia Composer in Residence Lembit Beecher debuts his latest work, Sophia's Forest, this September. This inventive chamber opera scored for five voices, custom-built sound sculptures, string quartet and percussion will premiere September 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. in the Black Box Theater at the URBN Center Annex at Drexel University, 3401 Filbert Street. Canadian playwright Hannah Moscovitch wrote the libretto. Tickets cost $25 for General Admission and $15 for Students and Seniors. Stars Unite for Refugees in Urgent Hollywood Gala
On March 16th at the Masonic Lodge in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, a host of British stars will gather to read extracts from Shakespeare's plays in response to real life refugee video stories. All profits go to the United Nations Refugee Agency, UNHCR.
Bottoms Dream Presents Original Shakespeare Weaving THE BRIDE
Bottoms Dream is proud to announce the NYC premiere of THE BRIDE, adapted by Nat Angstrom, and directed by Doug Durlacher. THE Bride begins performances on Thursday, February 16 for a limited engagement through Saturday, February 25. The performance schedule is Thursday-Sunday at 8 PM; and Sunday at 2 PM.
