Wigmore Hall Stages Fundraising Concert For The New Ukrainian Welcome Centre
In a show of solidarity, Wigmore Hall presents a fundraising concert at the beautiful, neighouring Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Central London on Thursday 5 May. In addition to supporting aid partners such as the British Red Cross and CAFOD with proceeds from the ticket sales, the concert is also the first major fundraising event for the newly-launched 'Ukrainian Welcome Centre' to help Ukrainians arriving in the United Kingdom.

In response to the British government's announcement that indoor performances with socially distanced audiences will be possible from 1 August, Wigmore Hall Director John Gilhooly will unveil ambitious plans for the autumn season at a one-off re-opening concert on 1 August.

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present the World Premiere of Bathsheba's Psalms, Or A Woman of Unusual Beauty Taking a Bath by April Ranger (Must Wash Hands at Brooklyn College), directed by Christina Roussos (Magic Trick with Caps Lock Theatre) at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues), April 4-21.
Clubbed Thumb Announces Winners of the 2017 Biennial Commission
Five time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb (Maria Striar, Producing Artistic Director; Sarah McLellan, Managing Director; Michael Bulger, Associate Artistic Director) has announced the winners of the seventh Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission. Playwrights Angela Hanks and Gabrielle Reisman will split the $15,000 award, each also receiving two years of development support. Three finalists were also named: Gracie Gardner, Daniel Glenn and Paul Cameron Hardy, each of whom will receive a $1,000 award and an opportunity to workshop their plays.

Fretwork to Open Houston Early Music's 2013-14 Concert Season, 11/2
