SFCM presents a double bill of two one-act operas by romantic-era masters, Massenet's Le portrait de Manon and Puccini's Suor Angelica -- one, a story of love and determination, and the other, a tale of secrets from within a Florentine convent.
SFCM Opera Presents Benjamin Britten's THE TURN OF THE SCREW
The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) will present Benjamin Britten's dramatic opera masterpiece, The Turn of the Screw, at Caroline H. Hume Concert Hall December 9 and 11. The two performances will feature different casts comprised of SFCM students in a new, fully staged production by Heather Mathews, with the Conservatory Orchestra led by Curt Pajer.
