BIO
Eliya Rodeh is a NYC based Israeli actress and singer. Born with a passion for music and theater, Eliya has been singing on and off the Israeli and international stage since the age of 8. Early on, she developed her extraordinary vocal performance talent by attending the Israeli Arts and Science Academy and later at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Her love for theatre brought her to New York City to pursue continued development, completing the Stella Adler Conservatory Program and currently flourishing at HB International Students Program.
Her passion, talent and professional skills led her to become a founding member of Dirty Laundry Theatre, a theatre production company which seeks to share cross cultures human stories. Dirty Laundry Thearte premiered its first play “Borders” at the NY Theatre Festival in June 2019 and was nominated for Best Play.

Dirty Laundry Theatre Announces Development of New Play LIGHT HEART HEAVY
Dirty Laundry Theatre has announced the development of the new theatrical experience Light Heart Heavy (working title), by Maera Daniel Hagage and Eliya Rodeh. After a successful workshop presentation at The Tank on 1/27, the play is planned to go into full stage production later this year.

Eliya Rodeh to Host Virago Ensemble's IT'S A SMALL WORLD in April
Virago Ensemble will present It's a Small World, a celebration of Disney songs in different languages. This evening will feature an international cast singing songs from the most beloved Disney movies that we all grew up on, in their native languages. Eliya Rodeh will host the evening that will be held at the Duplex in April. The cast includes Samia Omari, Nadav Wiesel, Maera Daniel Hagage, Lucia Hernandez, Eliya Rodeh and more. Full cast will be announced soon.

'Yerma' is an acclaimed Spanish play by Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca. The play tells the story of a childless woman living in rural Spain. She is trapped between her sense of duty and honor to her circumstances and her desire to live a full and meaningful life and to have a child. Her desperate desire for motherhood becomes an obsession that eventually drives her to commit a horrific crime.
